Here you will find a sampling of papers and articles that I have written. They do not fit with any larger agenda but represent miscellaneous opportunities that have come my way, flights of fancy and self-indulgence, or attempts to make the most of interesting situations in my teaching. In every case, however, I'd like to believe that the effort has made me a better teacher or scholar.
